A Different Kind of Fast

Our lives are often so cluttered with thoughts, habits, social media, news, drivenness, and our many daily commitments. Some of the clutter in our lives can be seen in our outer lives and is simply a reflection of inner clutter. Fasting is an act of letting go and making more space for God. Typically, we think of fasting from food as a diet. But the spiritual practice of fasting is to focus us on a deeper spiritual hunger for God. This Lent, what if we fasted from something different than food? What if we fasted from the very things in our lives that distract us from God? Join us for a different kind of fast…one where God will clarify your true hunger and nourish your soul.
