GC5K Run Registration
Daybreak is holding its fourth Great Commission Day on Sunday, May 20, 2018. The morning will kick off with great services, at our Gettysburg Pike and Good Hope Road campuses, lead by guest speaker Tim Crouch, vice president for
International Ministries. Tim’s heart is to see International Ministries propel Alliance people and churches toward meaningful contribution to the completion of the Great Commission in the spirit of the Great Commandment.
At 4:00 pm, we will have a 5K run, a fun walk on City Island.

Awards Ceremony will begin at 5:00 pm
Family-style dinner will follow the awards ceremony, with sandwiches and sides. Plan to stay and enjoy the evening with your Daybreak friends and family!
Race Course Descriptions:
The race will start at the Carousel Pavilion on City Island. Leaving the Pavilion, runners will head Southwest around the Island, and complete almost a full lap before proceeding across the walking bridge to the lower level of Front Street, where participants will take the Greenbelt Path Northwest to the entrance of the Sunken Gardens, and then turn around to go back to the starting line by the Pavilion. 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place awards for the 5K will be given in multiple men's and women's age categories, in addition to awards for the top male and top female 5K competitors.
All runner participant registration fees for the 5K are going directly to the C&MA Great Commission Fund, which supports a team of 700 international workers who care for the physical and spiritual needs of lost, hurting, and disenfranchised people in 70 countries.
Animals will not be permitted to participate in the 5K festivities.
The Run and Walk will take place rain or shine.
Since all registration fees are going directly to the Great Commission Fund, no refunds will be given. Registration fees are not tax-deductible contributions.
