1st, 2nd, and 3rd place awards for the 5K will be given in multiple men's and women's age categories, in addition to awards for the top male and top female 5K competitors.
**Fun Walk Course Description:
The walk will start at the Carousel Pavilion on City Island. Leaving the Pavilion, walkers will head Southwest around the Island, and complete a full lap to return to the Carousel Pavilion.
This year, in order to encourage as many people to participate as possible, we have not set a specific registration fee for the Fun Walk. Instead, at race check-in, we would ask you to make a financial donation, whether walking as an individual or family.
All participant registration fees and donations for the event are going directly to the The Alliance Great Commission Fund, which supports a team of 700 international workers who care for the physical and spiritual needs of lost, hurting, and disenfranchised people in 70 countries.
Animals will not be permitted to participate in the 5K festivities.
The Run and Walk will take place rain or shine.
Since all registration fees are going directly to the Great Commission Fund, no refunds will be given. Registration fees are not tax-deductible contributions.
